Travel Beauty Essentials: Must-Have Products for Your Next Trip
As a frequent traveler, I've fine-tuned my list of beauty and wellness essentials that might not be fancy, but are incredibly effective. Here are the products I'd recommend to any friend, family member, client, or anyone with a trip on the horizon.

Skincare on the Go
Hypochlorous Acid Spray
I purchase a large bottle on Amazon and portion it into a TSA-approved spray bottle. When I'm exploring a city or feeling hot on a plane, this refreshing mist is much better than using face wipes. It's become my go-to for instant refreshment.
Eye Masks
Don't hesitate to use these during your flight! They're incredibly refreshing and will help you arrive at your destination feeling more rejuvenated. Yes, airplanes have their quirks (like the guy with no shoes on), but trust me—other passengers aren't judging you for using an eye mask. They're secretly jealous. Self-care at 30,000 feet is always a good idea.
Hair Care Essentials
Dry Shampoo
A travel essential you know and love. One important tip: stick with a formula you've used before. Travel isn't the time to experiment with new products, so grab a travel-size version of your tried-and-true favorite.
Hair Oil Capsules
These are relatively new in my rotation and absolutely brilliant. Not only are they adorably packaged, but they're also sturdy enough to toss in your bag without worrying about leaks or spills. Each capsule contains the perfect amount of hair oil, especially for dry ends when flying or visiting arid climates. Remember, your skin isn't the only thing that gets dehydrated during travel!
Oral Hygiene
Quality Travel Toothbrush
Skip those disposable toothbrush kits and invest in a proper travel toothbrush. I use the Philips One, which comes with a hygienic case. It's not as powerful as my full-size sonic toothbrush (which I leave at home to avoid dealing with another charger), but it provides a much better clean than disposable options. You'll feel so much better arriving at your destination with properly clean teeth.
Organization is Key
Pill Organizer
There are countless options on Amazon, but look for one with different compartments and secure closures. Some even come with stickers for labeling. This becomes invaluable when you need an Advil mid-flight or when you're in a foreign country where you can't read product labels. Having your medications organized and easily accessible can be a true lifesaver.
Pouches, Pouches, Pouches
I organize my entire carry-on backpack using different pouches. This system ensures that when I need a protein bar, piece of gum, or that dry shampoo, I don't have to rummage through all my belongings. Each category has its designated pouch, making travel significantly more streamlined.
That wraps up my current travel beauty essentials! I'd love to hear about products you swear by—I'm always looking to try something new. And if there's another travel essentials category you'd like me to cover in a future post, let me know! This is just the beginning of the series!
